세금보고 시즌 막바지에 바쁘신 일정 가운데서도 항상 KACPA 활동에 애정과 참여를 보내주셔서 진심으로 감사드립니다.

다가오는 2025년 4월 24일(목), 저희 KACPA에서는 회원 여러분을 위한 4월 세미나를 준비하였습니다. 

이번 세미나는 CPE 3시간이 제공되며, 비즈니스 가치평가와 공정가치 회계에 대한 심도 있는 강의가 예정되어 있습니다.

• Seminar: Noon ~ 1:30pm

• Speaker: Michael Yi, ASA, CPA, TEP, MBA (Managing Director, Newport Valuations, Inc.)

• Topic:    Business Valuation Methodologies and the IRS Requirements of Valuation Experts

• Speaker Profile: Mr. Yi holds MBA and Bachelor’s degree from the UCLA and worked many years with KPMG specialized in valuations.

• Seminar: 1:30pm ~ 3pm

• Speaker: Joonho Lee, Ph.D. (Associate Professor at Cal. Poly Pomona)

• Topic:  Fair Value Accounting” updates and discussion on “The Tyranny of Merit

• Speaker Profile: Dr. Joonho Lee has been affiliated with California State Polytechnic University, Pomona since 2016. He has also taught at Singapore Management University. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Seoul National University. His research interests include empirical financial accounting such as security analysts’ forecasts, market efficiency, and management voluntary disclosures. His research has been published in journals including: Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting, and Journal of Accounting and Public Policies.

Registration fee:  

• Member (Online or at the door): $40 

• Non-member (Online or at the door): $70

• A member is a member who has paid an annual fee of $100

Lunch will be provided and starts at 11:30 am. Registration starts at same time.
